Samsung A57 5G 128GB – Black – Brand New

With so many mid-range phones on the market, it's fair to ask whether the Samsung A57 5G 128GB is worth choosing in 2026. On specification alone, it holds up well: a 120Hz AMOLED display, a capable Exynos chipset, and a battery built for all-day use are all features you'd expect from a pricier device. Samsung's commitment to six years of software updates also means the phone should stay current for longer than most rivals in this price range, which matters if you plan to keep your phone for several years rather than upgrading annually. Buying through Refurbished Phones UK adds a further layer of confidence, since every unit is checked before it's listed and backed by a 12-month UK warranty. For anyone who wants dependable everyday performance, a strong camera setup, and long-term support without paying for a top-tier model, the Samsung A57 5G is sensible.

The Samsung A57 5G 128GB uses a triple rear camera system built around a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, which helps keep everyday shots sharp even when your hand isn't perfectly steady. In good lighting, photos come out detailed and well-balanced, with colors that lean natural rather than overly processed. The 13MP ultra-wide lens is handy for group shots, landscapes, and interiors where you can't step back far enough to fit everything in frame, while the 5MP macro lens covers close-up detail shots, though it's best used in bright conditions. Low-light photography benefits from the larger main sensor and Samsung's processing, producing usable night shots without excessive noise. The Samsung A57 5G camera setup provides flexibility for capturing different types of photos in everyday situations. Video recording tops out at 4K, giving you flexibility for casual clips and social media content without needing a separate camera.

Battery life is one of the more practical strengths of the Samsung A57 5G 128GB, thanks to its 5000mAh cell. In day-to-day use, that's enough to get most people from morning to night, covering calls, messaging, browsing, social apps, and a reasonable amount of video streaming without needing a top-up. Heavier tasks like gaming, navigation, or long video calls will use more power, so actual backup time depends on how the phone is used and how strong your signal is. When charging is needed, 45W wired support brings the battery back up quickly, so you're not stuck waiting around for long stretches. Samsung's software also includes battery optimization tools that manage background app activity, helping the cell age more gradually over time. For anyone who relies on their phone throughout a full working day, this battery setup is one of the more reassuring parts of the package.

Buying any phone that isn't factory-sealed from a manufacturer store means it's worth checking a few things before you commit. Screen condition matters most, so look for scratches, dead pixels, or discoloration under different lighting. Battery health is another key point, since a heavily used cell will drain faster and may need replacing sooner. It's also sensible to confirm the phone hasn't been reported lost or stolen and that it isn't locked to a specific network if you need it unlocked. Check that all buttons, the fingerprint sensor, cameras, and charging port work as expected and that the box includes the accessories listed. Buying from a seller who tests devices and offers a clear warranty, such as Refurbished Phones UK's 12-month cover, takes most of this risk away, since any fault found after purchase is covered rather than left for you to sort out alone.
